About

VL53L0X is a new generation time-of-flight (TOF) laser ranging module (different from traditional technology),
using the smallest package currently on the market, providing accurate distance measurement regardless of target reflectivity.
It can measure an absolute distance of 2M, setting a new benchmark for ranging performance levels and opening the door for various new applications

Instructions for use

1. Individual module

Connect the purchased module to the IIC pin of your microcontroller and write your own program according to the reference routine

2. Supporting development board

As shown in the figure, insert the matching MS51 development board to display the distance.
At the same time, the serial port on the development board will print distance data every second,
and the digital display will be in units of inside.
The serial port output will be in millimeters. The maximum measurement distance of the development board is 500mm

When the distance measurement is inaccurate, the supporting development board has a calibration function.
In the event of a power outage, use tweezers to short-circuit SDA and GND, and then power on.
The digital display shows "Err", indicating that the calibration data in the development board has been cleared.
Disconnect the power and power on again to enter calibration mode. Place a baffle 11cm in front of the development board. When the reading on the digital tube is stable,
the power can be disconnected. In calibration mode, the serial port data is as follows: D represents the current measured distance,
cal represents the deviation from 107mm (107mm is due to the sensor protruding 3mm from the development board)
